SWIT Joins NDI® Advanced SDK Developers Program. Launches 21.5 & 23.8-inch Professional Monitors with NDI

Nanjing, China – August 30th, 2020 – SWIT Electronics, the broadcast monitor manufacturer, today announced the launch of professional NDI® monitors based on the latest NDI® 5 SDK. These all-new displays support high bandwidth NDI sources and deliver broadcast quality color performance and a variety of monitoring tools for video production reference.
There are 2 sizes of LCD panels available at launch: the 21.5-inch BM-215-NDI display and 23.8-inch BM-245-NDI display. Both displays are 1920 x 1080 FHD LCDs with 400nits LED backlight, H/V 178° full view angle, and wide color gamut of 100% DCI-P3 coverage for professional productions.
The monitors include an RJ45 port for high bandwidth NDI support up to 4K 2160p and lossless audio codec. In addition, the monitors support 3G-SDI input & loop out, 4K-HDMI 2.0 input, and NDI source decoded to 3G-SDI output. NDI, SDI and HDMI sources can be PIP or PBP displayed simultaneously.
All NDI sources are auto detected when the monitor is connected to an NDI network, and you can quickly select NDI sources from a list within the monitor menu. The monitors also support NDI discover server to pull NDI sources from different IP segments, and support NDI low bandwidth mode as well.
Professional video tools supported include waveforms, vector scopes, color gamut pattern, NDI audio meters, tally signals display, false color, blue only, focus assist, zebra stripes, scale markers, user 3DLUTs upload, and USB directly connected to X-rite i1 or Jeti Specbos 1211 probes to automatically calibrate the monitors.
