NDI 5® Update
Dear NDI Community,
We wanted to thank you for the amazing reception that you have given us with NDI version 5 – we’ve had such an incredible reaction from you, the NDI Community. When we gave away 10,000 copies of our HX Camera App for mobile to celebrate the launch, we thought this would last a week; we ran out in just two hours. Our NDI developer update was viewed by over 1M individual IPs in just 24 hours. And the NDI 5® launch itself generated 12k downloads of NDI Tools in the space of a week.
As you will have seen, we have already shipped 5 NDI updates (we are on version 5.0.5) with improvements and fixes. The one huge disappointment to us was that we did not get the full version of NDI Bridge shipping on the day of launch – although “Local mode” is fully operational and incredibly powerful on its own.
Making this support everything NDI can do, reliably across all networks is a really hard task but this is our primary focus, and we will keep you updated as to our progress via NDI.tv.
